This project investigates how to open a solid post-war industrial facade, originally built for machinery, to accommodate housing while preserving its architectural character. Through careful perforation of the brick walls and integration of new window openings within the existing brick bonds and ornaments, the proposal balances the need for daylight and living quality with the building’s heavy and closed expression.
