This diploma project investigates an overlooked typology (substations) and questions why they are systematically demolished once taken out of use. Through mapping, typological analysis, and architectural design studies, the project explores how these infrastructure buildings can be adaptively reused. A series of spatial transformations demonstrate their potential to become new civic, cultural, or communal spaces.
